Changing Format from "??/??" to text when pasting

I have a list of cells formatted as "??/??". When i copy these cells and paste them elsewhere i want to keep it th value as text.

    For example,

I have a cell with a fraction of 5/6 (actual value - 0.833333). When i copy and paste this into another cell, i want to keep the value of 5/6 as a text cell.

How can i best do this?
