Re: Conditional Formatting with Not work

I am assuming the moderators are satisfied with the post now? (title seems ok, and I can only see it in 1 forum)

But conditional formatting wont change the value of a cell it will only change font/color etc

    =IF(F16=No,No,)

is evaluated as true or false in conditional formatting, it doesnt evaluate to "No",""

you can put =if($f$16="No","No","") in the cells

Or use a macro to detect a change in f16 and change the rest of the cells in the range!

Thanks for that. I have tried putting that it in the cell - but as the document is active - reponses can be amended - which deletes the format in the cell.

Im new to macros. How would i write the macro?
