    Boundaries in 3d contour charts

    Hi,

I have data at non-regular intervals from a embankment cross section, it there for has both x,y position. I plot this using a 3d contour plot, but i need to restrict the area contoured to just the embankment shape and not the rectangular plot seen. Is this possible?, i have xy data for the embankment outline.

    Thanks.

In a surface plot only the z axis is numercial. The x and y axis are categorical.

To restrict the axes you will need to remove series/points for the data.
