Excel not Opening Files when double Clicked!

Hi All, Whenever I try and open an excel file Excel opens but then comes up with a box that says "Windows cannot find "C:\filename.xlsx". Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again." . But then when you open the file by using the open command in file menu within excel, the file opens with no problems.

Cannot anyone explain why its doin this?
