records data in status bar

Hi all

When i do a filter in most of the excel files i handlem in some the number of filtered records appear in the status bar at the bottom but in some files it does not appear.

why this happens? is it any feature that enables this facility.
Or is it related to the file size.

is it possible to get the filtered records count in all excel files?

It doesn't work when you have a bunch of formulas. It's explained here:
