Very simple one !!!
I have in one column first name space and then surname
I want to divide it into two columns 1 for the first name and 2 for the surname

Highlight column of text
Click on DATA > TEXT TO COLUMNS
Delimited > Next
[x] Space > [x] Treat consecutive delimiters as one > Finish
Clean up any weird resulting entries...dealing with names frequently does one or two rows wrong.
