    Template for Event Costing

I have been googling for a excel sheet, but just seem to find the right one. Then I found this great looking forum so I know someone here must beable to help me.

    This is what I need:

I host an event twice a month I have cost that change every two weeks and would like a nice looking sheet that I can puch the numbers in to then it will tell me how much I need to charge each guest. I have cost that are always the same and other that are not. If this isnt clear here is an example...

    Week1 week2 Month Year
    Milk 2.50 2.50 5.00 130.00
    Eggs .75 .75 1.50 39.00
    Vodka 2.50 2.50 5.00 130.00
    Lawn Darts 10.25 10.25 20.50 530.00

    Host 75.00 75.00 150.00 3900.00
    room 125.00 125.00 250.00 6500.00

    total 216 216 432 11232.00

Number of guest week1 week 2 month year
    25 30 55 55

cost of each guest 8.64 7.20

Yeah if any of this easy math is wrong please dont bust my balls So if you have a clue and I hope someone does. Anyone know where I can find what I am looking for?

    THANK YOU

    Hi,

Welcome to the forum, please take a few minutes and read the rules to the forum, only your title could do with something better to explain what you require.

May be something like the attached would help?

Thank you very much! After I posted this I started looking around. Looks like a lot of helpful stuff and websites that I use to really learn what I am doing with excel. The formulas are what I really need to learn. But if there just was a website the had a great list of sheets with thumbnail examples by each one ..for us lazy ones

Smile Excel Template needed and formula information

An infraction on my first post and almost on my second... My apologies, put me in the record books!

That last template almost worked. Does anyone know of web site that shows step by step how to and understand formula? Or do you know what category that I fall under for what I am looking for? It’s kind of weird.

I need a break down so I know what to charge each person each week. Then I have an X amount that is charged every time so is needs to show the X amount with the week one amount that changes every week. So if week one cost add up to where I need to charge each guest 8.850 it would be 8.50 + the X amount = X8.50 then below would show a break down of where X amount of dollars goes too.

So if Guest1 want to know why this amount they will see that week one had a over cost of these items and there where 25 guest so each is charged 8.50 and the regular X amount goes here.

Please see my first post here if that shows what I need too http://www.excelforum.com/excel-gene...cel-sheet.html

Wow I think I even confused myself...

    Thank you

Re: An infraction on my first post (still need help too)

Chris, please read the forum rules, and then amend your thread title so you don't set a second record.

Re: Excel Template needed and formula information

    Thanks.

I'm going to merge this with your prior thread. Then would you explain what you want, compared to what Old Chippy suggested?

EDIT ... and here we are.
