Conditional Formatting 10 names, Different background colours

Hello

Need help Conditional formatting names to excell ( more than 3 ) I just want the background colour of the cell to change.

I have sheet in excel in the shape of the United kingdom, which in each cell holds the 1st part of a post code ie ME.

I also have a list of advisors 1 per post code of who covers what area.

the maps I wish to created are vlookup("the postcode of themap", " the postcode:the advisor name", " return the advisor name",FALSE)

So I need each different person to have their own unique colour, so I can see on the map their area's.

The names that appear on the sheet are

Alex Edmans David Conder
Frank Solomons
Jane Darvill
Jullian Escott
Thomas Bailey
Gill Kydd
Kim Hine
Roger Titmarsh
Tim Joyce
Peter Humphrey

How Can I Code these so when the cell ( which is a vlookup) returns a name it changes to their own colour?

so simple terms

when on of the following names is returned from the vlookup the background colour of the cell changes

Alex Edmans David Conder

Jane Darvill
Jullian Escott
