I'm working on a large spreadsheet of products, the main activities for this are sorting, copy/pasting and find/replace.
Now I'm finding that excel is disappearing cell contents and replacing it with a repilcation of the cell below. Its such a small amount of data that at first I thought I was imagining it but the effect its having is massive. I find I'm constantly shuffling data around I thought was correct - and corrupting the data in the process. I see now that I have been chasing ghosts by replacing perfectly fine data and corrupting the entire sheet by replacing columns.
Also, this may be connected, but I'm also finding that sorting the same data in two different workbooks is producing close but not quite the same results. The sort function doesn't seem to always select the whole table either -
