Question Excel Services - PivotTables and Text formatting

    Hi all,

I recently learned about a very much praised MOSS 2007 Excel Services made to publish the reports and dashboards in web browser view.

    1. So I published a PivotTable, and unfortunately found out that "field list" manipulation is not allowed directly on the web (yeah, baaaad). Has anyone this problem? How did you manage to get around it?

    2. Another thing that disappointed me is the way the text within the cells was "reformatted" so the format I had is to have a long text within a cell to be wrapped to fit the column width, and I was not shrinking the text to fit in the column. Basically what I wanted is the text ALWAYS of the same size in the Cell and the entire text to be visible. HOWEVER, when published on the web the text is all shrinked down to fit the column width and be all in one line. Basically the text wrap is no longer functionning.

Does anyone know how to fix it?

Ok, found the fix... it was my mistake as in the Excel.exe I didn't have the "shrink to fit the column width" option unticked... fixed that one, but still unsatisfied w/ the PivotTable data fields...

    Thanks!
