2 forumlas in 1 cell

Hi,
I'm trying to put a sort of "IF(cell)=PAID,SUM(cell),nothing"
But every time I do it, it comes up with some error about puting a ' before it if I don't want it to be a formula, I'm trying to figure out how much I ow, and how much I've spent.

Try this:

=SUMIF(I3:I12;"PAID";F3:F12)

Just had to change the ";" to ",", but not to hard for me to figure out
