    Permanent Conditional Formatting Setting

    Hello,
How do you create a permanent setting. Seems I can not save the setting to a name. I would like to use a save conditional formatting on future Excel files and not have to create each time.

    Thanks JR

    Re: Permanent Conditional Formatting Setting

    Hi gaspower,

You can copy paste the format from previous excel file to new excel file you create every time.
Conditional formatting cannot be saved as a "name" which can be used on every new file. Thanks.

    Re: Permanent Conditional Formatting Setting

I believe that applying the conditional formatting in the personal.xls workbook will make all the new workbooks to have it in default.
