    Excel 2007 Charting Issue

Hello! I have recreated from a hard copy the attached chart, just guessing on the input numbers, and was able to preproduce it pretty closely, EXCEPT the Injected Water series isn't charting correctly (for instance, I entered 20, it charts a flat line). All of the other series are working. This is driving me nutso. What am I doing wrong?

    I appreciate your help!

You have the "Injected Water, MM barrels" series on the secondary value axis.
And you have formatted that axis to have a maximum of 1200.

Create the line with all the series and then move that series to the secondary axis. Format the axis to match line style.

Andy, thank you for your reply. I know I must sound dense, but I have tried formating and re-fromating the series/axis, and every time I do, excel changes either the left axis numbers, or the right axis numbers, or even sometimes the category axis. I really do need it to look exactly the way I've set it up. Is there a way I can get the left axis just to act as a text reference, without affecting the actual chart? I'm about ready to just draw the final series in manually, and drop the dang thing in as a bitmap and forget about it.

    Re: Excel 2007 Charting Issue

Whilst waiting for you example of the original chart you might want to consider this as a reason for the chart not working as expected.

I would guess that the all the data series should be on the main, left hand axis. With the % Water Cut being a percentage on the secondary axis on the right.

Therefore your values for the first 3 series should be in the range 0 to 1200.
With % water cut being in the range 0% to 80%

If you look at the data you have created all the values are in the range 0 to 80.
