Name & Name

Hi this is probaly very easy, i want to read a name that is over 2 coulmn as a whole

Column A - First Name (David)
Column B - Surname (James)

If i do - A1&B1 i get DavidJames but what i want is David James (With the space in, can anyone advise me how to do this
