Hello everyone,

I have to do a report every month. My data comes in as a text file, everyday I get a file with the data that I will eventually need. So, depending on the case, some I have to do on the 3rd of each month, some on the 10th, some on the 15th, and some on 22nd. However, my text data changes name everyday, such as "9896_3-3-09.txt" or "9896_3-4-09.txt" and so on. Same complex of information, same first 4 numbers.
Here comes the question... Can I set excel up to go to my data and get the information that I need in order from the text files every month? Keeping in mind that this will not file in April will be "9896_4-3-09.txt"
What would be the best way for me to go this text file, get the data that I need and bring to the spreadsheet?
