    autoformat based on date

I am trying to autoformat cells to be a certain color based on the date in the cell and how many days it is from the current date. I know I will need multiple rules but I have no idea of how to make the rule. For example if a date in a cell is five or less days from the current date I would like it to highlight in red. If the date is 6-14 days I would like it to highlight in yellow and if the date in the cell is 15+ days from the current date I would like the cell to be highlighted in green.
