Red face Vlookup help Or work around

    Hey guys,

Spent far too long trying to figure this out, when I should have just ask the best in the first place.

I have been asked to create a Look up function to find an employee name which then searches "report 29 Oct 07 to 27.02.09" and then grabs their Labour amount. The problem being, if there are multiple matches for that same employee, Vlookup only grabs the first amount. As you can see from the second part of the image.

Is it possible to do a multiple lookup, or is there another way around this using a formula?

    See below image link.

Any help would really be appreciated.

Not sure if I typed it out correctly from looking at your picture, but it seems that a SUMIF formula in cell C6 would help, something like this:
