Factoring a Vlookup into a Sumproduct formula

Is there a way of factoring in or adding a vlookup formula to the following formula
    =SUMPRODUCT( (RIGHT($A$1:$A$6, 1)="7") * $B$1:$B$6)

Re: Factoring a Vlookup into a Sumproduct formula

    =sumproduct( --(right($a$1:$a$6, 1)="7"),$a$1:$a$6, $b$1:$b$6)

PS. I may have misunderstood your needs. The formula calculates the SUMPRODUCT only if Column A has a 7 in the far right position.
I don't understand what VLOOKUP has to do with this.
