Good afternoon internova
...and welcome to the forum!!
Type 20 into an empty cell somewhere - anywhere will do and you can delete it after.
Right click the cell containing "20" and select copy
Highlight rows D2:D21, then right click the highlighted cells and click Paste Special
In the dialog box select add and click OK
Delete your "20".

Please familiarise yourself with the rules before posting. You can find them here.
But if you think to add different values every time you want best way could be to define some cell (for example B1 where you will type value) and in E row to add =$D2+$B$1 (and extend formula from E2 to E20 (or how big your column is)
Instead of 999 you can write any number...![]()

Never use Merged Cells in Excel
Maybe more explanation, in cutting list in cabinetry sometimes need to be change width or depth of the cabinet. Instead deleting and taping new values I need to know if it’s possible to change the values in easy way. (Group of cells by the same value). Usually added.
ZBOR’s solution working perfect but is bit complicated.
DOMINICB solutions is simple, perfect for me but I think not working in 2007 excel. In Paste Special dialog box is not add to select instead come with Unicode text or Text to select.
Any other ideas?
Works for me in Excel 2007...
Make sure what you are copying is actual cell entries and not text box or something like that.
Where there is a will there are many ways.

It works on 2003 too. The option is in "Operation" part of Paste Special.
