    Match value from range to data

    Hello,

    I am would like some assistance with a formula that checks which range a certain number falls (located in Col A) within, and then adds a value corresponding to the range in the column next to the original number (Col B).

    I have attached an example spreadsheet which should make things clearer. The data in Col A extends down about 2500 rows, and there is approximately 150 different ranges that the data can fall into.

    I thank you in advance for your assistance

    @Fotis:
    you mean:
    =LOOKUP(A2,$D$2:$D$11,$F$2:$F$11)
