ok I put in in and it returned the "" value from the If formula :
=IF(ISERR(($G$19&" "&ROWS($A$1:$A2)&", 2008")+0),""
The formula is mind blowing! otherwise i'd try to tweak it to make it work!
thanks for all your help!

See the attached... it's your sample with new formulas....
Does that help?

ok with that one i get blank cells in the area between 00:00 and 07:30 containing
=IF(ISERR(($G$19&" "&ROWS($A$1:$A2)&", 2008")+0),"",INDEX('0091 911'!E:E,MATCH(($G$19&" "&ROWS($A$1:$A2)&", 2008")+0,'0091 911'!$A:$A,0)))
and i get a #VALUE error in the area from 08:00 to 14:00 containing
=INDEX('0091 911'!AE:AE,MATCH(($G$19&" "&ROWS($A$1:$A2)&", 2008")+0,'0091 911'!$A:$A,0))
I hadn't copied the formula across the entire table... now I did... see attached..
If you still have problems, tell me which month to look at and which cells exactly have an issue.
i get nothing across the board, here is a screenshot, this is the same no matter which month i select, i think it is returning the "" value from the IFERR formula, could it be to do with the date being written January 1st 2008 and not January 1, 2008?
