Conditional product of sum

Maybe I should say conditional product of conditional sum.
Eitherway, the values in column J are summed if P is column R for the repective row.

Now, I'm confused on how to change my formula to multiply the result above
by the value in column Q for the same respective row.

anyhelp in setting up the formula is appreciated.

=SUMPRODUCT(--($R$5:$R$246="P"),--($R$5:$R$246=" "),J$5:J$246,Q$5:Q$246)

Are you saying SUM Product of J & Q if either R is P or Space (should this be Null perhaps ? ("")) ?

=SUMPRODUCT(--(ISNUMBER(MATCH($R$5:$R$246,{" ","P"},0))),$J$5:$J$246,$Q$5:$Q$246)

Judging by the actual question.. I am not sure you need to check for " " or "" at all, if you want to sumproduct when column R ="P"

=SUMPRODUCT(--($R$5:$R$246="P"),J$5:J$246,Q$5:Q$246)
