Convert a number in excel to a barcode

Our employees have a six digit code such as 723545 that is assigned to each employee.

This number is then printed on a sticker which says what inventory items are supposed to be given to them.

How can I assign a bar code to a number such as 723545 that we can print on a sticker or appear on a spreadsheet???
