    finding mistakes in excel

    hi,

    i have a problem.

    in excel i have multiple rows with data.

    is there a formula that if i added the date that in one on the cells of the same row, that it will change the font color or the fill in color?

    That's very vague.

    Else, give a better description of your worksheet layout, i.e., column number and type of data in the column, what you want to add in another column and the results you expect/want to see.

    Suppose, for example, that in column A you have some numbers, and in Cell D1 you want to enter a number to find; then you could use Conditional formatting to hi-lite all the cells in column A that matched to number in Cell D1. You would set Conditional Formatting to change font color and/or cell fill color, etc.

    how could i change it
    can you explain it in conditional formating there is no option to change other coloum while enter the number putting in the D coloumn
