Copy data from row to another col in sep. sheet

Hi,

I have data of say 2,600 student in excel sheet(sheet1). Sorted on std. id.

Now on 2nd sheet(sheet2) I will have selected Std. id only in clo. A, when this std.id of sheete2 matches with std.id of sheet1,all data in row say from B to AH(sheet1) is to get copy to col. B onwards to AH on sheet2. If no match found I need to have blank row. I can achive col by col. with Vlookup, But I find it toooo laborius. Plz. Plz. help
