Hi John
Your suggestion makes alot of sense but I have a couple more questions.
Firstly, Our technicians sometimes work in the evening through to the early hours of the following morning, e.g. Overtime starts at 06:45 p.m. (8 Jan) and finished at 02:00 a.m. (9 Jan). Then they start work again during normal working hours at 08:00 a.m. on 9 Jan. How would I show that on the spreadsheet? Thats why I thought putting the different start and end columns for both overtime and normal hours would be easier.
Secondly, what formula would I use to show how many hours haven't been worked to meet the 40 hour minimum. My boss' want the spreadsheet to show the hours "underworked" and owing to the company in one column and the overtime, if any, in another column.
Thank you for you help.
Doreen
