Text Cell shows 0's

Hi,

I have a cell that brings in some text based on the following equation:
=INDEX($DB$8:$DC$24,MATCH($DI8,$DH$8:$DH$24,0),1)

Whenever I reference the aforementioned cell, it just show's 0. Any thoughts?

I need it to actually show the text that I see in the referenced cell.

Right click the cell and select Format...to check the actual formatting of the cell.. it should be General or Text.

If that is okay... make sure you under that the you are looking in column DH for a match to item in DI and retrieving data from column DB.. is that right?

If yes, and still no cigar, attach your spreadsheet for review.

Hi,

Thanks for the help. I actually figured out that the Index/Match was referencing itself in one piece and even though the cell was displaying the text, it wasn't really. Fixed.

Can you please mark your thread as Solved.

How to mark a thread Solved
Go to the first post
Click edit
Click Go Advanced
Just below the word Title you will see a dropdown with the word No prefix.
Change to Solved
Click Save
