More cosmetically pleasing & user friendly

Hi, I have created a spreadsheet for the company I work for and although the spreadsheet is functional and does what we need it to do I am wanting to do a little more wth it. I want to make the sheet a little more user friendly & better looking on the eye. I believe that I can use form controls and buttons to achieve this but I am unsure how to go about it.

Anyone got any idea's??

I have attached the spreadsheet for people to see what I am talking about. Basically the spreadsheet is for keepig track of stock that comes in for a particular customer. What we do is we get a batch of stock from the head office of the customer and then we alter it in house and distribute it to the various sites of the customer. We wanted to keep an accurate count of what stock we had come in & what we had taken out to make sure that we are not losing any stock. I am worried that some of the cells that contain calculations are open to the end user in our warehouse accidently overtyping them and therefore causing the spreadsheet not to function correctly.

Anyway, has anyone got any Idea's on how I can spruce up the spreadsheet and how I go about doing it?
