Take off protection and converting form xlsl to zip

I was reading an article that I can convert an xslx file to a zip file. Go into the worksheet and remove or change the protection portion and then convert it back to the xlsl sheet again. Has anyone ever done this or know how step by step. I use the protection from time to time but I want to e able to remove it totally so when I pass my sheets out another wont protect it

    Thanks

Do you have the passwords for these files? (if not, then we cannot help you, it is against forum rules to circumvent security measures)

Also, if you give a file to someone (that is not PW protected), I dont think you can stop them from adding their own passwords
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
