on an aside - when loading samples it's best to ensure they're in 97-03 format as not everyone has 2007 as yet.

That is extremly helpful thank you for that, sorry bout that 2007 format i prefer the older one just got a new laptop and thats what came with it.

FYI, when you save a file you can pick the file format, so you can choose to save as 97-2003 format even if running in 2007 -- doing so will generate the file with the traditional .xls extension. The 2007 file types have better compression etc so files in older formats (binary) will be bigger than the same file saved as a 2007 file, however, for purposes of samples etc the .xls type is preferable.
