    how to create a column that gives ascending values

    Hi.... all

    I need help with this simple query...

    How to create a column that has ascending values ie: increment of 1 eg. 1,2,3,4,5,6 ......

    enter 1 where you want it to start
    enter 2 below that
    highlight both
    drag down as far as needed
