Hi there,

I did a search of the forums (i'm a newb here btw) and I think my question kind of first in to this query.

I have a datasheet from BOXI which really unhelpfully lists 4 columns (i'll copy them here as a linked image)

Basically I was looking to work out how to count the following instances:

M:M = U AND the adjacent cell in N:N = F (like M3 and N3 in the linked image)

I cannot for the life of me work it out - and I know a pivot table would be best but I'm still too thick to make these (and the people who'll use these are incapable of using pivot tables).

The problem I have is that N:N's "F" means "confirmed", but it confirms any cell, even ones where M:M is "C". So I'm basically looking to segregate "C" AND "F" and "U" AND "F".

Do you get me? Sorry for being confusing. Hope you can help.

Regards,
Pete Harris
