    Greetings:
I would like someone to tell me how to take the result of a formula calculated in one cell and show the results in an other cell

Not sure if it's as simple as this but.....

If your formula is in A1 then in any other cell

    =A1

I have tried several different methods but all i can get is the formula itself in the second cell not the result of the formula

That sounds like your second cell is formatted as text. Try changing the formatting to general then press F2 key
