    Bulk data sort

    Hi Guys,
Is there a simple method to bulk data sort?
    Explanation:
I run a workbook with worksheets in calendar months (12)
These consist of names in alphabetical order.
If a new name is added to or deleted from all the sheets (I've cracked how to do this) how can I data sort them without doing it sheet by sheet?
As always trust to your expertise.
    Thanks -=- dustyv

    Hi,

I assume you mean you don't want to sort the sheets manually. One way or another you will need to address each sheet in turn, hence you will need a macro to do it.

The obvious solution is to use the macro recorder to capture a macro. Experiment a few times first so that you know excactly which areas to select and then switch on the recorder.

Afterwards you can then tidy up and simplify the macro by building an a loop to access each sheet. But that's for later. Get to first base first then post your macro and we'll adapt it.

    Regards

    Hi
Thanks for your reply and advice.
Please find attached file "Macro Solution"
I had to create 2 macro's as I forgot to mention the summary sheet I use is different to the other 12.
I still have to operate macro 1 12 times but it's far more efficient than the old sort method.
Please feel free to pull my efforts to pieces I'd appreciate another opinion.
    Thanks -=- dustyv

you could simply repeat each sheet selecting it first probably far more efficient way but

    Hi,

Can you upload your actual workbook rather than the text from the recorder. That will assist in being able to advise further.

As you can probably see there's a lot of redundant stuff in there.

    Hi Maretindwilson,
Thanks that works for me - perfect.
Being I have 12 sheets I have modified your offering to suit.
