    Adding Times Together

    Hi,

Just a quick one - i am setting up a time sheet to total the times taken by operatives based on a start and finish time.

I have the cells in hh:mm format and have it set up to calculate the finish less the start time.

However i want to add all of the resulting hh:mm numbers together to get to the total number of hours each, day, week etc.

I bet it is something simple but i have tried different cell formats with not success i keep getting 05:00 - it should equate to 53 hours?

    Thanks in advance

The time is being displayed as the number of hours and not any days 53= 2 days and 5 hours. If you change the cell formating to [h]:mm, it should display the answer as you require.

format cells_number_custom then type in the format as above

    Does that work?
    Regards
