    Question VLOOKUP - Returning '#N/A'

    Hi All,

I have just decided to dable in the 'VLOOKUP' function. I have looked at a few examples on the net and I have tried to replicate them with no luck (I have modified titles and values).

I have attached my example to this post. If anyone could shed some light as to why it is not working I would be extremely grateful.

    Cheers

Change the formula in G2 to

    =VLOOKUP($F2,$B$1:$D$11,2,FALSE)

VLOOKUP uses the first column in the Table Array argument to do the matching

Awesome! I made that mod and then realised that the Column # to return is related to the number of the column with respect to the start column of the VLOOKUP function!

    Problem Sorted!

    Thanks Very Much!

    Cheers
