    Date Formula

    HI,

    In cell B3, I have the start date and cell C3 I have the end date.

    In cell D3, I need a formula that should provide the remaining balance days from the current day compared to the end date, excluding saturday/sundays/holidays.

    Appreciate help.

    Thanks.

    Teh NETWORKDAYS function will provide thsi answer.
    it is only availble if you have aded the ANALYSIS toolpack under the tools>add-ins command.

    The online help is fairly informative, but post back if you have issues.

    Hi VBA Noob,

    My apologies. The following post isn't exactly the same 100% as the cross post but here is the link for the cross post. I did not post the link as it was not a 100% same. My apologies again:

    See NETWORKDAYS in XL Help, eg

    =NETWORKDAYS(TODAY(),C3,holiday_range)

    where holiday_range is a named range containing your public holiday dates.

    (requires Analysis ToolPak be activated via Tools -> Addins)
