Ok. Cell A1 contains =SUM(B1;C1)
In Cell D1 I want to check if B1 exists in A1. I want to check the formula, not the value. Is this even possible?

Hi, what exactly do you mean?
Do you want to check if the formula of b1 is equal to the formula of a1?
Or, if the formula of b1 is part of the formula of a1?
Or, is it something completely different that you're looking for...?
Welcome to the forum.
You could do it in VBA, but not via worksheet functions.
Why would you want to?
Entia non sunt multiplicanda sine necessitate
It's a "GUI" thing. I want the user to know which cells they have included in the sum. Example. We have a list of 50 products with price. The user sums the cells with the price and I want to add conditional formatting making the product name in bold when the cell with the price is active in the sum formula. Edit: The price is linked from another document and changes. Therefor I can't use a number, i need the cell reference.
I know it's easier to just create buttons, but I do want to know if this is possible. For any future use.
