    No, they don't.

All I need is that cell height of the column on the right would be different from the cell height of the column on the left.

Pls let me know if my objective is still not clear.

Cells in the same row will share the same cell height properties. You may want to consider merging cells or using a shape object that can be resized and be given a similar appearance.

I don't understand the problem. The cell height of the two columns is exactly the same for each row. The right hand column has one less box at the bottom, but that is just an empty cell.

If the data is layed out on the screen like that, just hit the print button.

That is excatly my question. Can I change cell height if each column? Is it posible to make column on the right with cell height different from column on the left?

No, you can't. Cell height is determinded for the whole row and can not change between columns.

You can, however, merge two cells into one, resulting in a cell that spans more than one row or more than one column.

Select the cells you want to merge, then open the format dialog box and on the alignment tab select "merge".

Re: Different cell height on a single print page

Excel has a nice funtion - fit to one page when printing. No matter how many cells, it would print on one page. Would you happen to know if I can do the same with MS Word. Can I force Word to print on one page?

Not that I'm aware of. But Word has a different concept than Excel. In Word you work with a defined paper size and then roll on to the next page. In Excel, you have a huge array of cells that you distribute to paper pages, if needed.

If you need your Word document to print on one page, you may need to play with the font sizes to make it fit.

    cheers
