Autopopulating cells based on values of a range?

Okay, so I have quite an extensive spreadsheet built and of course the boss wants something addtional added, that I'm not sure Excel can accomodate. The question is this, is there any way to have excel examine data and populate a cell if a certain criteria is met (IE)

there is a list of loans:

    ABC Co. - Closed
    Acme - In Process
    Build-It - Closed

And then on separate shee I want a range of cells to examine that list and only return the return the loans that are closed. In this case A1 & A3. Is this possible, and if so, how would I accomplish this?

    Any help would be great!

Why not just AutoFilter on the existing sheet?
Entia non sunt multiplicanda sine necessitate

The separate sheet is in a form format that my boss prints off for her monthly board meetings. Currently I manually populate the fields, but was hoping for a way to have them pull the information through automatically. Is there any way to use the auto filter to do this on a separate sheet? Sorry, I'm a self taught Excel user, so my knowledge is limited. Thanks again, and I apologize about the title of my previous thread.

    Regards,
    Sean

Post a sanitized example workbook with enough data to show what you want.

    Hello,

thanks again for taking a look at this. I've attached a steralized version of the spreadsheet minus all unrelated tabs (or hopefully unrelated) there are a lot of formulas in other tabs that reference the cells in the "pipeline tab", however I don't think this should affect them. I put a brief description of what I'm aiming for on the spreadsheet. Thanks!

    Warmest Regards,
    Sean
