    Display Negative Times

    Excel 2003
I am doing math on times and want to be able to SEE values of Negative times instead of the ########
This is happening in a time card because I am summing the weeks total and subtracting 20 from it (expected 20 hours per week) so it will ALWAYS be negative until the last day of the work week.

    Thanks in advance

EDIT: Sorry - this probably should NOT have been posted in "Programming"

You can format them as some number format other than date or time.

The only other alternative is to use the 1904 date system, which will change all of your other dates.

    I'll move the thread.

    Thanks for moving the thread.

As neither of your solutions appear to be less intrusive then the ######
I guess I will have to live with them.

    Thanks for the reply
