    firm size based on employment

    We have list of firms and employees for six years and we need to give size no 1,2 or 3 for each firm based on average number of employees as the following :
    size 1 for 1-9 employee
    size 2 for 10-999 employee
    size 3 for 1000-above

    you can use following formula

    =IF(B588<=9,1,IF(B588<=999,2,IF(B588<=1000,3,0)))
