Show Size of autoshape in cell

I am trying to set up something that would link the length of an arrow to a cell in excel (autoshape) and if I drag to arrow to a different length the value in the cell would change accordingly. How should I do it? thanks for your help!

This could be done via Visual Basic programming,
but not via "standard" excel commands
