Hello folks- simple one here- can someone assist me in what do to do delete duplicates in a spreadsheet- we deal in spare parts and we have spreadsheets with duplicate part number entries-- is there a way to apply a tool to our spreadsheets to automatically delete duplicate entries?

I know Excel 2007 has a "Delete duplicate entries" under the "Data" tab. Not sure about Excel 2003 because I've never used it.
If you highlight the range of cells that has the part numbers only, and click Data > Filter > Advanced Autofilter > Copy: in place > [x] Unique Values it will HIDE all the duplicate rows based on the part numbers. Then you can copy/paste the remaining shorter list somewhere. Keep the original list or not.
