Copying sheet to new file, keeping formula?

Hi all, I hoping you can help me with this please...

I have a spread sheet stating expences payments each week for foster carers. It lists their personal info and how much they are each to be paid. I have designed another sheet wich seperates this data so i can send them an info slip to say the payment details. I have managed to link the data so when the data is entered on the first sheet the second sheet updates automaticly.

This is working well but the problem i have is that we have a excel file for each week of the year. So I need to put my second sheet in each weeks file. I tried copy and pasting all the data on sheet 2 in to the next weeks file but it still links back to the previous weeks data. The formula in the first file is eg. =payments!A5 etc...

But once it is copied in to the next file it inserts the location of the previous file in to the formula, the data is still comming from the last week and not the current week.

I would go through each and change manually but as theres alot of cells to update on each week and i need to do 52 it would be time consuming.

If anyone could help id be most greatfull!

    Thanks

After you copy the new sheet in place, press CTRL-H to open the SEARCH/REPLACE window.

Click on OPTIONS to open up the full screen.

    Search: '[doc.xls]payments'!
Replace: payments! <--adjust these two for your actual need

    Search within sheet
    Look in formulas

    Replace All
