Is it possible to click on a cell, and the information of that cell be in another work book or file, that you automatically goto?

E.g. - worksheet 1 has cell A1 with the name fred. The information for fred is on worksheet 2.
Once you have clicked on cell A1 you are transfered to freds info on worksheet 2.
However, cell A2 has bob. And bobs info is in worksheet 56 . . . . . and so on.

Alternatively, the info could be in a folder on the hard drive.

Any help would be useful, as im getting nowhere with VBA.
