I am having trouble using the tab key to navigate to the next cell. Whenever I push tab I get jumped to the edge of the page instead of the next cell. This excel program is on a new computer I got at work and I have never had this problem before. Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like you have one of the Transition Settings engaged that make
Excel behave like 1-2-3.
Try this....
From the Excel Main Menu
<tools><options><transition tab>
UNcheck everything.
