IF Function wildcards for # of digits in value?

I have a sheet where I need to locate (in one column) any value that is longer than 4 digits and delete it.

I am assuming the IF function would be best, but from there I do not know how to enter the amount of digits as the logical_test value.

    Please assist if possible!!!

and drag down. This will give you "True" whenever the length in A is >4. Autofilter on B, with True and then delete those rows. Does that work for you?
