Worksheet attached.
Obscure lines of info which I'm trying to break up into pieces.
Being able to find from the right instead of left would be REALLY handy.
See attached example with details and example if you could pls!
Thanks!

Where is this data coming from? Is there ANY way you can control the layout of the data? It is separated by spaces, separating the sections by a comma or or semicolon...anything like that?
If you can, this would give you the ability to run the Text to Columns feature against the data.

Entia non sunt multiplicanda sine necessitate
The format I'm drawing that info from also definitely lacks any form of elegance. It's a Point Of Sale system that's ridiculously crude. 20 year old software should be illegal.
I'll have to try it out when I'm back at work tomorrow. I've no doubt it works, SHG, I've seen enough of your posts to know that you know what you're doing. So thankee.
And no, JBeaucaire, there's nothing I can do about the format it's in. It's 2913 lines worth of gobbledeegook with no rhyme or reason to the filing system, and the software I'm trying to reference from is about as user friendly as Hitler... as well as being around at about the same time as him. It's not even recent enough to interface effectively with a mouse, system-wide updates were apparently not a part of the plan at that point.
