1st thread be gentle, ok here goes,
instead of using the formula '=B1-B2' which is very simple I want the rows in the formula to be dependant on another cell eg
If A1 = 1 and A2 = 2 I want to use '=B(A1) - B(A2) to get answer -1
all I get is #NAME?
Please help hope this makes sense
